Today's happiness is enormous around the whole world. This is the day that many of people share happiness, smiles. But how? Mostly with materialism, objects bought from someone or something. Wouldn't a big smile be enough? Just the fact of parents spending more time today with their children wouldn't be enough? No, we always want to touch something, the feeling comes after. This isn't a new truth, it is just another occasion of this mad world where we affirm: "We are happy". Define me happiness please or I won't believe it at all.

Happiness is relative.
You are right that the world has become very materialistic, but isn't it at exactly such a time that the things we can't buy get more valuable?
One thing is sure - you cannot apply the same yardstick to everybody. Meaning that there are also people who can appreciate small things in life such as smiles.
I strongly believe that a positive attitude makes the "mad" world a bit brighter and a bit happier!
Keep smiling - it might infect others.

Happiness is a state of well-being and contentment and apparently this feeling develops in a place in our brains. But what happiness is caused by is relative, that’s what I ment.
Why is a definition of happiness important? Isn’t it enough to know that it is a positive thing and therefore something you should try to promote...

Por sempre teres sido um leitor do meu blog e por eu achar que o blog é um espelho da alma (ah e também por eu ser um cusco e gostar de saber como andam as almas dos meus amigos) serei um leitor assíduo do teu blog e sempre que tiver algo a dizer deixarei comment.
Neste caso não o tenho a fazer, porque acho que essa é, neste momento, a tua visão do mundo e conhecendo como eu te conheço deves estar muito agarrado a ela, deixando pouco espaço de manobra para as minhas teorias de 3º. Abraço

happiness: adormecer no sofá a ver filmes; conversas animadas com os amigos; ir ao w fazer nao-sei-que só porque sim; tirar fotografias a poças de água deixadas pela chuva às 6 e meia da manhã e chamar-lhes landart; fazer trabalhos até às tantas; desenhos de paisagens cubistas; instalações em caixas de cartão; jantares feitos por mim e que são intragáveis; cabelos mal-cortados por gente com a mania que é rebelde; dizer parvoíces; smiles estúpidos; casas na lua... (xiu! calate pah!) dirias-me tu agora. já chega. tentei definir happiness. consegui chegar lá perto?* XXX parolo playboy!!:P
